1. Shire Horse

The Shire is the largest horse breed, standing over 18 hands tall and weighing up to 2,400 pounds. Historically, they were used as war horses, carrying knights and pulling artillery. Shires can pull up to 36,450 pounds (16,550 kg), with some records showing a single Shire pulling up to 58,000 pounds (26,300 kg) in competition.

2. Clydesdale

Famous for their role in Budweiser commercials, Clydesdales stand 16 to 18 hands tall and weigh 1,500–2,200 pounds. Known for their feathered legs and striking appearance, they can pull 1 to 4 tonnes of weight, often seen in parades and events.

3. Belgian Draft

Originating in Belgium, Belgian Drafts weigh 1,800–2,200 pounds and are known for their strength and endurance. These horses are used in logging and competitive pulling, capable of pulling 8,000 pounds (3,600 kg) under optimal conditions.

An American Cream could potentially pull between 3,200 pounds and 4,000 pounds (about 1,088 kg to 1,814 kg). Their robust build and strong musculature make them particularly suited for heavy pulling tasks

Their strong physique makes them well-suited for heavy draft work.
